What is WINTER SNOW?

Every winter, during the month of February, an event known as “SNOW MIKU” is held in Sapporo, the hometown of Hatsune Miku. “Project WINTER SNOW” is a gathering of DJs, VJs, and Creators at a fan-made event with the theme of “another Snow Miku that no one yet knows".”

ばりボカ!

Haru’s DJ career started in 2018 when he organized and performed at his own event 「ばりボカ!」(Barivoca!). Haru’s music gets the floor moving with a variety of genres mixed with vocal synths and D&B at the core.

(Higuhiro)

ミクノモーション

Higuhiro can be found DJing at his self-run event 「ミクノモーション」(Miku no Motion) in Okayama, or in the virtual metaverse with his female avatar based off RearAlice. Higuhiro’s zone is between 110 and 160 BPM, taking the crowd in an emotional journey through thematic sets. When performing, Higuhiro covers himself with a hat, earning him the title “kz in the wild.”

Sinta

北大ボカロDJ

Sinta started his DJ career 2021 and runs the Hokudai Vocaloid DJ event. Future Bounce and Bass House are Sinta’s specialties.

Beginning as an organizer for Hokkaido’s 「Vocaloid Dance Music ボカジク」(Vocajiku) , Sinta’s activities are expanding to producing remixes and VJing, even designing itasha.

Born 1998 in Osaka. An enjoyer of vocal synths and internet music.

Having fallen in love with Vocaloid clubbing and the subculture, temura started to DJ in 2018 and moved on to creating music in 2021.

temura produces bootlegs of anime and VTuber songs using VOICEROID.

FAIZ

invaders

Born in 2000, residing in Tokushima, FAIZ started to DJ and VJ in 2015, creating his own music in 2018. While at first his style seems absurd, the mix of genres he dishes out is guaranteed to rock any club floor.

Last year FAIZ created his own music label 「Invaders」. His activities continue to grow with original songs and other exciting ventures. Not just limited to Tokushima, FAIZ performs in clubs across Japan.

市瀬るぽ
(Ichinose Rupo)

Starting as a VocaloP in 2011, combining VOCALOID and electro sounds to their tracks. Ichinose’s song “alive” appeared in the game Project Sekai in 2020.

Ichinose creates music for Denonbu, FANTASTICS from EXILE TRIBE, and a number of voice actors. They are also involved in event productions, DJ and live events.

D-D-Dice made their prominent debut in 2020.

Producing music for games and anime, they enjoy making tracks that are catchy and impactful, and progressively intense, dramatic.

His favorite genre notwithstanding, Oyayubi performs at events featuring VOCALOID, HIP-HOP, Rock, and VTuber music.

Has a reputation for careful and dynamic genre neutral performances.

RULES AND GUIDELINES

  • The legal drinking age in Japan is 20. Please drink responsibly.

  • Serving alcohol to minors is prohibited. Those who are underage will require a wristband to be worn during the event.

  • You must present valid identification before entering the venue. Valid forms of identification are passports or Japan resident cards. Those who fail to present identification will be denied entry.

  • Please do not take photos or videos without permission. Always ask before sharing on social media such as X or Facebook.

  • Bringing outside food or drink inside the venue is prohibited. If discovered, you may be asked to leave the venue.

  • Smoking is not permitted inside the venue.

  • The venue is standing room only, please refrain from sitting on the floor. Be mindful of others around you.

  • Gifting of drinks to DJs is allowed, but please do so behind the booth to avoid equipment damage.

  • This is a music event focused on Vocaloid music, but there is no strict requirement to play only Vocaloid songs. Performances may include non-Vocaloid music.

  • Please notify a staff member immediately if you feel unwell or find someone requiring assistance.

  • Changing rooms will be provided for both male and female cosplayers on site.

  • Please use the lockers outside the event area to store your belongings. The safety of your valuables is your responsibility.

  • There is no tolerance for any kind of abusive behavior or harassment. Please notify a staff member immediately if an incident occurs.

  • Please register for this event using one Twitter account per person.
